As part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Frankfort Regional Medical Center will be hosting "Pink Out Frankfort" event, including the 2nd Annual Pink Poker Motorcycle Run on Saturday, October 5, 2013. There will be plenty of food, shopping, fun and support for a great cause – Breast Cancer Awareness.

Proceeds will benefit the Kentucky Pink Connection, an organization who provides support for breast cancer patients by reducing and/or eliminating barriers to screening, diagnosis and treatment.

Planned activities & events:

  • "Fight Like a Girl" High School Volleyball Tournament, 9am - 6pm (Western Hills High School and Franklin County High School)*
  • Cruise-In for a Breast Cancer, 10:30am - 3pm Check out some cool cars - old & new.
  • Craft & Vendor Fair, 10am - 4pm
  • Pink Poker Motorcycle Run (registration begins at 8am; wheels up at 10am) Costs: Motorcycle Run - $15/bike and $5/passenger
  • Pumpkin painting station - buy a pink pumpkin with a $5 donation or paint your own with the kids
  • Plus more - face painting and sidewalk chalk drawing for the kids

* Volleyball Tournament (featuring 8 teams) will also be played on Friday. October 4 starting at 5:30pm- rain or shine.

All events are weather permitting. Cancelled if rain.
