Frankfort, KY (February 14, 2008) - Frankfort Regional Medical Center proudly announces the addition of Ganesh Yamraj, M.D. to its medical staff. Along with his brother, Bhawan Yamraj, M.D., he opened a family practice clinic last December -- Frankfort Family Care Center -- located on the second floor of the new Frankfort Medical Pavilion adjacent to the hospital. The practice offers extended hours and accept walk-ins, and will care for the entire family from infants to older adults.
"Through the Frankfort Family Care Center, both Dr. Bhawan Yamraj and Dr. Ganesh Yamraj will offer our communities additional convenience and accessibility to receiving high quality medical care," said Chip Peal, Chief Executive Officer.
Born and raised near San Francisco, California, both Dr. Bhawan Yamraj and Dr. Ganesh Yamraj completed their undergraduate training from universities in California.
Dr. Yamraj received his medical degree from the Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia, West Indies. He completed his residency in family medicine at the Trover Foundation in Madisonville, Kentucky, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Ganesh Yamraj is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
