Frankfort, KY - Frankfort Regional Medical Center will be hosting a free Heart Health Fair on Thursday, December 13 from 8:00am to noon in the Cardiac Rehab department of the hospital, located just off the main lobby.
Free cardiovascular screenings will be available, including lipid profiles, glucose and blood pressure checks. There will also be information on smoking cessation, nutritional counseling and other heart healthy recommendations.
Fasting after midnight is recommended for those who plan on participating in the lipid profiles or glucose screening. Registration is not required as patients will be seen on a walk-in basis.
