Frankfort, KY (January 19, 2018) – Frankfort Regional Medical Center has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky for 2018 - making the recognition the 12th consecutive for the hospital.  The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) recently announced the 100 companies that made the 14th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky list.

“Being named as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky for the 12th consecutive year demonstrates the winning culture our employees have created and embraced here,” said Chip Peal, Chief Executive Officer. “Our employees are just as important as our other customers – patients, families and affiliated physicians. The Best Places to Work in Kentucky 2018 list is made up of 100 companies in three categories – 39 in the small category (15-149 employees), 29 in the medium sized category (150-499 employees), and 32 in the large category (more than 500 employees).  Frankfort Regional Medical Center was recognized in the large category.  

The competition is a multi-year initiative designed to motivate companies in the Commonwealth to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence. The selection process, managed by Best Companies Group, is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey.

Frankfort Regional Medical Center will be recognized and honored at an awards dinner on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Heritage Hall in the Lexington Convention Center. The final winner rankings will be announced at the event.
