Frankfort Regional Medical Center has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky for 2016 - making the recognition the tenth consecutive for the hospital. The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) recently announced the companies that made the 12th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky list, presented by Kentucky Career Center and the State Information Data Exchange System (UI SIDES).

“Being named as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky for the tenth consecutive year demonstrates the winning culture our employees have created and embraced here,” said Chip Peal, the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer. “Each of our employees plays a significant role in the success of our organization, and I am proud to work with such a strong team of healthcare professionals.”

This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Kentucky, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. The Best Places to Work in Kentucky 2016 list is made up of 100 companies in three categories – 36 in the small category (15-149 employees), 34 in the medium sized category (150-499 employees), and 30 in the large category (more than 500 employees). Frankfort Regional Medical Center was recognized in the large category.

The selection process, managed by Best Companies Group, is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey.

Frankfort Regional Medical Center will be recognized and honored at an awards dinner on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Heritage Hall in the Lexington Convention Center. The final rankings will be announced at the event.
