Frankfort Regional Medical Center expands specialty care with opening of Capital Gastroenterology
Gastroenterologist Mathew Miller, MD joins hospital medical staff and is now accepting new patients
Frankfort, Ky. — Frankfort Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is proud to announce the opening of Capital Gastroenterology, giving patients in Frankfort and surrounding communities convenient access to specialty care close to home. The hospital is also pleased to welcome Mathew Miller, MD, a board certified gastroenterologist who specializes in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the digestive system.
Capital Gastroenterology offers preventive screenings, diagnostic procedures and treatment for a wide range of digestive health needs, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy and esophageal dilation.

Dr. Miller earned his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio where he also completed an internal medicine internship. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical School of Cincinnati, Ohio, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at Lahey Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts. With more than thirty years of experience, Dr. Miller treats a wide variety of gastrointestinal and hepatic conditions. He offers both diagnostic and therapeutic Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy.
