On January 13, 2025, the halls in the Center for Women's Health at Frankfort Regional Medical Center were filled with an extra dose of joy as two of our dedicated nurses, Jenna Johnston, Clinical Charge Nurse for Diagnostic Imaging, and Katelyn Sams, Director of Inpatient Services, welcomed their newborn daughters into the world—just 20 minutes apart! This heartwarming coincidence has brought smiles to everyone in our hospital community and serves as a reminder of the special bonds shared by our team.
Both Jenna and Katelyn have been cherished members of the Frankfort Regional Medical Center family, known for their compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication to their patients. The arrival of their baby girls on the same day has only deepened the sense of connection within our hospital walls.

The delivery teams at Frankfort Regional Medical Center rallied to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for both moms. As Jenna and Katelyn welcomed their little ones into the world, cheers and congratulations echoed through the maternity ward. It was a moment of pure happiness that brought together colleagues, friends, and families.
Stephen Hall, MD and Emily Dial, APRN, CNM, delivered the babies. Emily shared her thoughts: “It's rare to witness such a beautiful coincidence. Seeing two friends and colleagues welcome their daughters on the same day, just minutes apart, is a memory I'll cherish forever.”
Celebrating New Beginnings
The newborns—healthy, beautiful baby girls—have already captured the hearts of everyone at the hospital. Plans are underway for a small celebration to honor this special occasion, and the maternity ward has been buzzing with excitement.
