Chief Financial Officer
Spencer Hankins joined Frankfort Regional Medical Center as Chief Financial Officer in January 2023. He most recently served as Assistance Chief Financial Officer at Tulane Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana. During his tenure at Tulane, he oversaw the partnership’s financial reporting, capital budget and performance improvement initiatives. Spencer is responsible for the daily oversight of the accounting, medical records, case management, supply chain, information systems and patient account services.
Spencer began his career with HCA Healthcare in Patient Account Services in Tampa, Florida, before transitioning to Largo Medical Center in the West Florida Division. Following his time at Largo, Spencer served as Controller of both Ocala Health System and North Florida Regional Medical Center in the North Florida Division.
Spencer earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and a Master in Business Administration and Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida.
