Frankfort, KY (September 2, 2010) - Frankfort Regional Medical Center proudly announces the addition of obstetrician and gynecologist Amanda Robertson, D.O. to its active medical staff. Dr. Robertson has joined Women's Care of the Bluegrass in Frankfort. Dr. Robertson has special interests in minimally invasive surgery and multiple gestation pregnancies.

"Dr. Robertson will make a great addition to our medical staff, hospital and our community," said Chip Peal, Chief Executive Officer.

Dr. Robertson received her medical degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. She completed an internship at St. James Olympia Fields in Olympia Fields, Illinois. Dr. Robertson completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Dr. Robertson is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association and American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
