For questions regarding your hospital bill or payment options, you may call our automated billing system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (800) 605-1446. Through this system you can obtain balance information, learn what insurance the hospital has on file for you, or request a copy of an itemized bill.
If your question cannot be answered by our automated system we have Customer Service Representatives on duty Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (EST). If necessary, please leave your name and phone number, and a Patient Account Representative will return your call by the next business day.

Charity Care Policy
At Frankfort Regional Medical Center we use the Federal Poverty Guidelines to guide our charity policy. If your total family income is within 200 percent (two times) the baseline poverty amount, you may be eligible for partial or full assistance. Proof of income and assets is required.
Partial Charity Discounts
A sliding scale from 210 percent up to 400 percent of Federal Poverty Guidelines is used to calculate a percentage charity write off. In other words, a family making four times the Federal Poverty Guidelines may be eligible for a 10 percent charity discount. Proof of income and assets is required.
Prompt Pay and Discounts for the Uninsured
Patients without health insurance who are not eligible for charity are eligible for a discount of 30%. Ann additional discount of 20% is available for patients who elect to meet their responsibility in a lump-sum payment at the time of service. We will provide you with estimated charges for elective procedures and inform you of available discounts. Patients who have health insurance are not eligible for this discount.
Financial Counseling
At Frankfort Regional Medical Center we employ specially trained staff to assist you with your bills. We can also help determine eligibility for charity programs or other ways to finance your hospital bill by extending payments over time. We do not charge interest, but some discounts may not apply if payments are extended over time.
Medicaid Eligibility Screening Service
We make every effort to assist patients who may be qualified for Medicaid or other available programs to apply for this type of government assistance. Many patients qualify but do not know they meet the guidelines. Eligibility is always determined by the state agency, but we will screen you for eligibility and refer you to the proper authorities to make an application.
