In partnership with the Paul Sawyier Public Library, Frankfort Regional Medical Center is sponsoring a free physician lecture series entitled "Wellness By the Book".
Dr. Irfan Ansari, board-certified ophthalmologist, will be presenting an informational presentation on cataracts - the most common cause of vision loss in people over age 40. A cataract is a clouding of the eye’s natural lens, which lies behind the iris and pupil. Information will be provided on the different types of cataracts, signs, symptoms and available treatment options. The lecture will take place at the Paul Sawyier Public Library in Frankfort on Tuesday, April 28 at 6:00pm.
