Frankfort, KY (July 2, 2010) - Frankfort Regional Medical Center proudly announces the addition of general surgeon Timothy Bowling, M.D. to its active medical staff. Dr. Bowling has joined Capital Surgical Clinic in Frankfort. Dr. Bowling has special interests in minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of reflux diseases, minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of colon cancer, breast surgery and thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
"Dr. Bowling will provide a great service for the residents we serve through high quality care," said Chip Peal, Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Bowling received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Kentucky. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery from the University of Louisville. Dr. Bowling is board eligible in general surgery. He is an active member of the Kentucky Medical Association, Southeastern Surgical Society, American Surgical Association and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
