As part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Frankfort Regional Medical Center will be hosting the 1st Annual Pink Poker Motorcycle Run sponsored by the Kentucky Road Runners on Saturday, October 6 from 11am to 1pm Registration will begin at 10am at the parking lot of the hospital and the cost is $15/bike and $5/passenger. Proceeds will benefit the Kentucky Pink Connection, an organization who provides support for breast cancer patients by reducing and/or eliminating barriers to screening, diagnosis and treatment.
There will also be a chili cook-off during the run. Come and support a great cause while sampling the best chili Frankfort has to offer. Tickets are $1 each to sample individual chili, or six tickets for $5. To enter your chili in the competition, please call (502) 226-7500.
