Frankfort, KY (July 14, 2008) ' Frankfort Regional Medical Center proudly announces the addition of family practitioner Matthew Bucher, M.D. and pain management specialist Richard Lingreen, M.D. to its medical staff. Dr. Bucher joins Capital Family Physicians in their West office in Frankfort. Dr. Lingreen is opening an office, Commonwealth Specialists of Kentucky, in the new Frankfort Medical Pavilion next to the hospital.
'Both Dr. Bucher and Dr. Lingreen make great additions to our medical staff,' said Chip Peal, Chief Executive Officer. 'Dr. Bucher fulfills a great continuing need for family practitioners in our area. Dr. Lingreen brings a wealth of experience in pain management and will provide a new specialty for our community. Both physicians will provide a great service to our community through high quality care.'
Dr. Bucher received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He completed a residency in family medicine from McLeod Family Medicine in Florence, South Carolina.
Dr. Bucher is board eligible in family practice. He is an active member of the American Association for Primary Care Endoscopy, American Academy of Family Physicians, and American Medical Association.

Dr. Lingreen received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Kansas in Kansas City. He completed an internship in general surgery from Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama and a residency in anesthesiology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Lingreen is board certified in anesthesiology, pain management and addiction medicine. He specializes in dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain, including injection therapy, spinal cord stimulators and pumps, medical management and extensive evaluations. Dr. Lingreen is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, American Academy of Pain Management, American Society of Addiction Medicine, and American College of Surgeons.
