Frankfort, KY (June 30, 2008) ' Frankfort Regional Medical Center proudly announces the addition of cardiologist Scott Monnin, M.D. to its medical staff. Dr. Monnin joins Bluegrass Cardiology in Frankfort.
'Dr. Monnin will make a great addition to our medical staff, particularly for our cardiovascular services,' said Chip Peal, Chief Executive Officer. 'He will provide a great service to our community through high quality care.'
Dr. Monnin received his doctorate of medicine from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Monnin completed a cardiology fellowship from the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Monnin is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in cardiology. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association. Dr. Monnin was honorably discharged in the United States Marine Corp.
