Visitor Guidelines

Patient Information
For general patient information, call (502) 875-5240.
You will receive the patient's room number and phone number, along with the condition report of satisfactory, fair or critical. Patient rooms may be dialed directly, ask the PBX operator for details.  For more information about patient condition definitions, visit our Patient Condition Information page.

Cafeteria
The cafeteria is located on the first floor of the hospital near the main entrance.  The cafeteria is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serves hot foods at the following designated times:

Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Flowers
Flowers sent to you will be delivered as soon as they arrive.  However, flowers are not allowed in the Intensive Care Unit, Labor and Delivery area, or for patients in protective isolation.

Gift Shop
The gift shop is located in the main lobby of the hospital to patients and visitors.

The gift shop hours are as follows:
Monday - Friday: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Saturday: Noon to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

Interpreter Services
Interpreter services for hearing impaired patients can be arranged through our Patient Representative at (502) 226-7892.  Frankfort Regional Medical Center also provides interpreter services for foreign languages through our AT&T Language Line.

Lost and Found
If you have misplaced any of your belongings, please notify your nurse.  Lost and found items are held with our Patient Representative.

Mail
Mail is delivered to patients daily.  A hospital staff member will post outgoing mail for you.  Any mail received after you have been discharged will be forwarded to your home address.

Newspapers
Newspapers are available for purchase in the front lobby.

Parking
Complimentary parking is available in the south parking lot.  Visitor parking is denoted by the white parking space lines.

Pastoral Care
The hospital is able to provide for pastoral care and other spiritual services for patients who request them.

Vending Area
Food vending machines are available near the entrance to the Cafeteria and in the Emergency Department waiting area.  Beverage vending machines are located in the vending area, OB waiting room, ICU waiting room, Surgery Center waiting area and on the third, fourth and fifth floors.
